Standing Tall

Now it may be this theorem is nothing new to you. It may be I've told you about it a thousand times before, no one is forcing you to read it though so it's hardly a problem.

Now to commence, over the many centuries of man kinds existence, the power balance between genders has for the most part been hugely toward males.

There are many thoughts this knowledge brings to the surface. The first being thank fuck for that. After all who wants to be in an inferior position? The next follow up thought usually has something to do with the good old days, when a women knew her place and a man told her where it was. What happened to them?

The world is and has been changing in that regard for a long time, though perhaps not all that long in the greater scheme of things.

Another question that on occasion I've pondered in regard to this is why? Why we men were in a position of superiority for so long and indeed still are in many ways.

There's many answers, some of the more common being to do with the advantage of strength in former times. Some more to do with the female preoccupation for pretty stuff which inevitably makes them unpractical.

As the saying goes, when a bear is charging your arse the colour of the wallpaper or the position of the toilet seat is not important. See men are logical and women aren't. Still lets not list the faults of women as obviously we could be here all night.

In any case I've sidelined these and other such theories as periphery to the real cause.

No the real cause is much more basic and simple a divide. Symbolism.

In the mists of time there was a seminal moment, a watershed in earth's history. When a grubby ape stood up on hind legs and walked.

Shortly after this, still standing he urinated on a tree.
